- Telescoping sections – Rub with household paraffin wax.
- Casters – Light oil.
- Chain and sprockets – Apply light oil very sparingly. Too much and the lubricant can contact the slip clutch which will prevent the slip clutch from grabbing, resulting in the need to disassemble the winch and clean the clutch.
